What is Stress?
Stress is the physical and emotional response our body has to challenging situation that we perceive as a threat. A certain amount of fear can be generated resulting in the activation of the Fight/Flight response in the body. This results in stress response hormones such as Adrenalin, Noradrenalin and Cortisol, flooding the body resulting in a racing heart rate, rapid breathing, muscle tension and a sense of confusion.
